we just came from the Super Pet Expo this weekend and theFranchize & Flash drew lots of doggies & kitties. so clearly, i haven't been able to do much work over the weekend. then this weekend, there's a cake show i'm going to with my sister (UH, YES PLEASE!) and the Annapolis Comic Con. originally i wasn't going to be able to make it to the Annapolis Con at all but it looks like i'll be there on Sunday. WOOT!! last year was pretty cool so it should be fun times this year as well. if ur in the area, definitely go! it's small but it seems to be growing quite rapidly. and of course, we'll be there! KAKAKA

my brain's been pretty mushy all week. its amazing how much time gets eaten up from just writing/responding to emails. and of course today i wake up with a lovely neck and head ache. but that's the fun part about working for urself - u can't really call out sick. =P anyways, just wanted to quickly share what's on my drawing table today. getting started on a couple of commissions to get people what they want. these lovely ladies ain't drawin themselves. (and if they did, then i'd be out of a job. that's not a good look.)

in other news, i've just signed up for a couple of new sketchcard sets from Cryptozoic. not sure if we're allowed to announce what they are yet, but just know that i'm super excited about em. i know, i'm sorry, i hate it when people say "i got some great news! but i can't tell u what it is yet!" too. but i'm just so excited i couldn't contain it. no worries, u'll be the first to know when we're allowed to say it.

been wanting to run away from responsibilities but i already know how that lesson ends - it'll bite u in the butt. =P i just felt this song was fitting for my current mood. it's all good, i still get my 3-4 hours of zelda gaming around midnite. yeah i'm up till 4a, but its a small price to pay for this current addiction. kekeke

anyways, these are all the cards i drew for 5Finity Production's Shi card set. the four seasons idea was courtesy of one of my fav fans of my sketchcards. it helped set the tone for many of the other ones. (can't see the snow on the winter card's scan though. it's there i swear.) thanx adam!

i just finished this commission as well. i've drawn a couple of other fantasy-related commissions for this client before. the 3-headed cat lady is something that i think he came up with. basically i'm here to translate his ideas to paper. =)

up next, i gots lots of vectoring to do for a different project. yays!

these are all the cards i did a month or so ago for 5Finity Production's Female Persuasion 2 card set featuring Josie and the Pussycats. i'm glad i was able to do this set because the last time i drew josie and the pussycats, i was not so good at sketchcards. plus the card itself at the time was super glossy so everything i used to draw on it just fought me back every step of the way! so these, i'm much more pleased with. =)

this was PendantAudio.com's Supergirl Radio Show cover #58 for february. at the end of the story, grundy busts through the wall and it was jokingly described as being similar to the Kool Aid guy. so i decided to continue the joke. =P cuz why not!
unfortunately my hubby theFranchize had to step down from doing their Superman covers cuz he's got all types of projects he's working on, the biggest being Fanboys vs. Zombies for BOOM! Studios. however, our fellow studiomate Flash will be stepping up to the plate and taking over the Superman covers instead of the Catwoman ones. so awesomeness ensues! =)
